Role Summary/Purpose
The Manufacturing Specialist will:
· Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment
· Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making
· Department has a supportive role in knowledge management gathering data and storing them in a system
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, as the Manufacturing Specialist, you will:
· Ensures that manufacturing premises are fully operational, maintained, and clean
· This is manufacturing specific and does not include gardeners, caterers, etc.
· Plans differing activities on the basis of a predefined year plan
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facility Management
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
