Job Description Summary

As the Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that production equipment infrastructure systems perform predictably and continue to operate as required to support the manufacturing process.  You will also ensures that all production systems, GMP and non-GMP, conform to relevant regulatory requirements as well as company specifications and requirements.  You will also support Manufacturing in the implementation of process improvements and enhancements. This includes design, scope definition, change control and project management

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set up and management of the maintenance program for all Site equipment & Facilities.

  • Safety Champion of all production systems.

  • Ownership of issues in the production equipment field. Eliminating re-occurring equipment problems

  • Developing SOP’s, reliability procedures and management of change to equipment files. Assisting with generation, review and revision of maintenance documentation as necessary.

  • Monitoring of plant and equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and availability – OEE

  • Leading platform maintenance trending & reporting out KPI’s.

  • Data trend analysis of all performance aspects production equipment to identify and proactively manage performance trends.

  • Ensuring the preventive maintenance schedule for their system is successfully implemented.

  • Optimising the site preventive maintenance programme (RCM/FMECA based)

  • Ensuring that a critical spare parts list for their system is identified and appropriate levels of spares are maintained.

  • The definition and scoping of all process improvement activities relating to the system.

  • Providing technical assistance to maintenance personnel and other departments as required.

  • Risk assessments and mitigation projects relating to system performance.

  • Support of new product introductions and introduction of new equipment.

  • Representing maintenance department on site-based teams involved in implementing new technology, products or business processes to the site.

  • Leading Maintenance Continuous improvement programs and performance improvement projects.

Qualifications and experience

  • Engineering Degree (or equivalent) in a mechanical, electrical or process discipline.

  • Solid experience within a similar role preferred

  • Strong experience working within a GMP environment in a process or equipment engineering role.

  • Qualification and working experience in cleanroom technology

  • Ability to work on own initiative & judgement with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrable levels of theoretical knowledge with practical application.

  • Relevant working Knowledge of a regulated Industry

  • relevant industrial project experience

  • A high degree of computer literacy

    

Desired characteristics

  • Project management qualification and experience

  • Previous experience working with a CMMS preferably Maximo

  • Experience in reliability centralised maintenance techniques i.e RCM, FMEA and equipment criticality assessments

  • Demonstrated People management skills

  • Demonstrate Leadership, Commitment, Engagement and Accountability at all times.
