Role Summary/Purpose

A member of the Facilities / Maintenance Department, the Maintenance Coordinator will report directly to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
They will be responsible for coordinating all contractor based planned and reactive facilities and maintenance activity, to enable ‘best-service’ to all internal customers and the production process.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Receive requests for maintenance support (through various mediums) and prioritise resulting daily workload. 
·  Utilise and manage contractors to enable expedient resolution of reactive maintenance issues and completion of planned maintenance activity.  
·  Take due cognizance of facilities, plant and equipment related issues and prioritise and action accordingly. 
·  Ensure all records are maintained effectively. 
·  Maintain / improve an effective contractor management program. 
·  Provide support to site projects from a maintenance standpoint. 
·  In conjunction with the Maintenance Parts Controller, ensure fastest response time from suppliers and contractors. 
·  In conjunction with the Maintenance Parts Controller, identify critical machine spares and establish visible stock control at point of use. 
·  Liaise with production Gate-Owners and other managers to ensure adequate, consistent lines of communication. 
·  Utilise Caledonian purchase order system.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Membership of Facilities Management or Plant Engineers. 
·  Maintenance planning/scheduling experience. 
·  Facilities/maintenance work experience. 
·  Contractor supervision / management experience.
