Job Description Summary
In this position, you will coordinate GE Vernova Hitachi (GVH) Nuclear Energy activities that facilitate new employee onboarding, orientation, and business assimilation. You will become a core Learning and Development operations team member, supporting talent acquisition, employee development and promoting a positive employee experience for the GEH team.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Implement a centralized process for onboarding and prompt assimilation and integration of new talent, enabling a strong early employee experience of our GEV culture.
· Create an exceptional new hire experience through competent, direct, meaningful engagement throughout the first 30 days of a new hire assimilation experience.
· Coordinate formal new hire assimilation process logistics. Arrange in-person and virtual meetings, trainings and other activities as required by GVH guidelines and individual position requirements.
· Provide “Best in Class” customer service on new hire ramp-up activities, promptly resolving questions/requests from employees, managers and HR partners.
· Collaborate with international Human Resources partners and stakeholders in assimilation and orientation of GVH new hires in locations outside of the U.S.A.
· Positively represent and differentiate the GVH employment brand for new GVH hires.
· Maintain high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, timeliness and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and GEV policy requirements.
· Develop effective relationships with stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication.
· Develop and maintain understanding of new hire assimilation and engagement best practices.
· Actively engage with the lean operating model, using process improvements, standardization, and simplification to operate compliantly and efficiently.
· Support key business HR data analytics needs, including the development of operating rhythm data.
· Support learning and development projects and priorities as requested. Provide back-up support for other learning operations team members.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college OR High school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of technical, professional, administrative or L&D experience.
· At least 2 years of professional experience in one of the following: (a) engineering or science, (b) administrative support, (c) HR, (4) training / development, (5) project management

· Ability to occasionally support activities outside of regular business hours
· Ability to work on-site at GVH's Wilmington, NC location on a daily basis.
Desired Characteristics
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or related field
· Passion for supporting talent assimilation and orientation.
· Experience creating effective, efficient, engaging talent assimilation, training, or employee development processes.
· Experience coordinating complex meetings, events or similar activities.
· Experience with nuclear power or other highly regulated industry. Experience working in Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulated environment.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team environment
· Demonstrated organization and administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to make decisions and drive priorities.
· Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing requirements and business needs.
· Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Extensive use of MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel anticipated.
· Experience with lean tools and methodologies. Passion for continuous process improvement and simplification.
The base pay range for this position is $82,000.00 - 136,700.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $82,000.00 and $136,700.00. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
