Role Summary/Purpose

The Renewable Energy OnShore Wind Lead Marketing Demand Analyst will provide global industry analysis, insight and recommendations to Renewable Energy leadership, and the Commercial and Product Line Organizations.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Lead Marketing Demand Analyst – OnShore Wind, you will:
• Lead industry forecasting, orders tracking, and statistical analysis of demand for onshore wind globally
• Develop and maintain customer segmentation and pipeline analysis for OnShore Wind Marketing
• Elicit inputs from internal (Commercial, Regional Marketing, Product Line) and external sources (industry analysts, press clippings, trade journals) to create a comprehensive view of the competitive demand landscape of OnShore Wind
• Develop strategic competitive demand scenarios that incorporate economic, policy and industry enablers and constraints for OnShore Wind to achieve geographic expansion and financial goals
• Serve as primary liaison with industry analysts, AWEA and other regional wind industry organizations regarding GE and industry install activity
• Issue quarterly reports characterizing GE global installs and US industry installs
• Integrate actions with Corporate and Renewable Energy and Power Marketing organizations

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

• Statistical and industry forecasting analysis experience
• Master's Degree in Marketing or Business
• GE Leadership Program graduate, RELP (Renewable Energy Leadership Program), CLP (Commercial Leadership Program) (GE employees only)
• Experience and knowledge of renewable energy products and industry landscape
• Proven analytical skill set
• Strong process and program management skills
• Strong communication skills and confidence with executive presentations
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or engineering
