Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Specialist will have as main activities the development of test routines based on product changes and improvements of existing equipment, validation of new hardware and firmware versions of GE equipment, preparation of work instructions for the GE production area and suppliers. Technical support to raw material suppliers, code creation in the SAP ERP system and support in Quality and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities

- Support in improvement actions that reflect productivity with high quality index;
- Technical support in lean manufacturing initiatives;
- Support to industrialization, quality and lean manufacturing teams;
- Develop and implement improvements in the testing routines of products and electronic boards;
- Development of technical reports (approval, product changes ...);
- Support Quality and Lean Manufacturing initiatives: Kaizens, increased productivity, L1L2 (level of automation of manufacturing processes) and Increased product reliability.
Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent areas;
- At least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing;
- Intermediate or Advanced English;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Pro-activity;
- Agility in decision-making and Strong problem solving skills;
- Accountability and ability to work independently;
- Experience with C #, C / C ++ and / or Shell script programming language;
- Knowledge and experience with electronic circuits
Desired Characteristics

- Knowledge of quality tools and problem solving;
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing;
- Experience with Ethernet communication protocols
