Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for an engaged, open-minded and well-motivated winter intern to support Finance activities within the GE Shared Services center in Asia. This paid internship will provide you with an opportunity to work with team members across the different shared services center globally on a variety of different tasks and projects. Key projects include global fixed assets metrics, policies compliance tracking and process simplification delivery.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Support the FA Global Team in consolidating metrics and landscape across 4 different centers.
·  Analyze the tooling assets & straight line depreciation method change to identify any deviation to GE GAP 360.10.
·  Support various simplification projects within Global Ops Fixed Assets HQ team.
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Requirements:

·  Bachelor's degree in progress.
·  Degree concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
·  GPA of 3.0 or higher on a scale up to 4.0 (unofficial transcript should be available upon request).
·  Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Requirements:

·  Bachelor's degree students currently in their 3rd or 4th year of study.
·  GPA of 3.5 or higher on a scale up
to 4.0 (unofficial transcript should be available upon request).
·  Prior internship or work experience in an office environment.
·  Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
·  Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and planning skills.
·  Strong project management skills.
·  Proven ability to execute and meet deadlines.
·  Ability to work on (and manage) multiple projects simultaneously.
·  Ability to work in multiple cultural environment and virtual teams.
·  Ability to successfully manage a high volume of data entry.
·  Ability to work independently and in teams.
·  Strong sense of urgency and detail.
·  Strong team player.
