Role Summary/Purpose

The Indirect material planner, as a newly created role, will be responsible for creation of cell level indirect material standard & manage it. Planner will be responsible for building up daily operation standard between various stake holders.
Essential Responsibilities

• • Develop indirect material consumable standard specified by commercial engine Standard Practice Manuals & Repair Manuals
• Develop cell level visual management system for indirect material consumption tracking
• Create SSS (Purchasing system) material requisitions as per consumption signal
• Own production area budget & cost control
• Work closely with sourcing & engineering to develop cost effective material selection
• Close cooperation with the production work cells to continuously monitor the excess and obsolete materials. Set and follow up the corrective actions to reduce them.
• Monthly spent review on consumed materials (T&S) and make necessary adjustment if required
• Standardize hand tool types & drive simplification
• Work closely with engineering team to build new tool type test plan
• Plan with production team new tool test
• Support development of indirect material strategy
• Create indirect material specification for purchasing tenders
Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or Manufacturing role.
• Demonstrated experience in interpretation of blueprints, specifications, manufacturing process planning and evaluation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in tools & supply management
• Good communication skills in English and Hungarian.
