Role Summary/Purpose
The General Assembler Entry - Chip Spin / Wash - 3rd Shift will be required to perform each of the tasks below in a safe and timely manner. This employee will be self-driven and able to manage their own time.
Essential Responsibilities
As the General Assembler Entry - Chip Spin / Wash - 3rd Shift, you will:
· Operate plate and floor Wash
· Operate Chip / Spin / Spiro
· Utilize all unit supplementary equipment
· Move all parts in outgoing queues
· Maintain housekeeping in area
· Dump full gaylords of chips in appropriate locations
· Maintain numerical and written records
· Perform frequent heavy lifting
· Drive fork truck as required and move material throughout shop floor
· Perform basic SAP transactions
· Comply with all LOTO training requirements, policies, and procedures
· Replenish empty box locations
· Replenish empty dolly locations
· Unload trucks at the receiving dock
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability and willingness to obtain fork truck training / certification
Desired Characteristics
· Ability to interpret shop blueprints
· Ability to interpret MOSs
· Ability to perform arithmetic and basic shop math
· Ability to use standard measuring instruments
· Strong safety, attendance and performance record
· Work with minimum supervision
· Work well with others
· Communicate effectively
