Role Summary/Purpose

The Financial Management Program (FMP) equips early professionals with exceptional experiences, as it both begins and continues the acceleration of corporate finance careers. 

The FMP Intern will be aligned to one of our core finance teams and have an assignment in corporate finance, including Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
Essential Responsibilities

There are no two assignments that are the same, they vary in scope. Each assignment is designed to both expose you to GE strategic initiatives as well as the role that Finance plays in achieving the business' objectives. 
As the FMP Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with and showcase your work to senior Executives, who will act as coaches throughout your rotation. After completion of the Intern cycle, FMP Interns will have opportunity to interview for GE's Financial Management Program upon graduation. 
Throughout the internship, the FMP Intern will be given an assignment in one of the core GE Finance competencies listed below. 
The assignment provides an opportunity to have a real impact on business issues. Interns are challenged to assist in developing innovative solutions that respond to dynamic business conditions.

 • FP&A: Learn how the business uses financial planning analysis of the income statement, balance sheet, or cash flow statement to report and forecast

 • Supply Chain: Understand how products are made, use finance to drive quality and productivity

 • Commercial Finance: Learn core products and services value proposition, understand contracting, financing solutions and risk management

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 
·  GPA in major greater than 3.0/4.0 
·  Must be willing to relocate 
·  AN OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT SHOULD BE PROVIDED TO THE INTERVIEWER
