Role Summary/Purpose

Take direction from attorneys and members of the legal staff in researching issues, laws and best practices to summarize in a concise clear manner, both verbally and written. This position involves participating in department initiatives such as various regulatory and compliance issues.

Essential Responsibilities

Complete legal research and provide clear, concise summary, both verbally and written
Drafting of Corporate resolutions, contracts, amendments and motions
Strong involvements in department initiatives
Willingness to assume responsibilities consistent with department goals

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

1L in accredited law school
Strong analytic skills
Strong legal research and writing
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Ability to complete tasks under time pressures to meet deadline

Qualifications/Requirements

Top 10% of current class
3.0 GPA or greater and must be maintained throughout employment
Must be able to physically work at GE Aviation's Cincinnati, Ohio facility during the summer and throughout the school year, as needed
