Job Description
This EEDP opportunity is with Unison Industries, a GE Aerospace Company, which is a global leader in providing electrical & mechanical components and solutions for Aviation, Power, Space & Defense, Transportation and Oil & Gas applications. With U.S. locations in Jacksonville FL, Norwich NY and the Dayton OH area, a Unison EEDP may experience work with advanced ignition systems, sensors, compact permanent magnet generators, harnesses, engine starters, flexible joints, fluid delivery and thermal management systems. As part of the Edison Engineering Development Program, you will:
Plan and perform assigned tasks within the framework of areas’ schedules, budget, quality and cost constraints while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
Demonstrate ability to understand and apply engineering fundamentals in the business environment
Demonstrate analytical/problem solving using principles-based engineering solutions
Collaborate in setting realistic and challenging operating goals for yourself and the business, and contribute to their accomplishment
Propose new analyses, techniques and methodologies with respect to the specific area of responsibility, where applicable
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
Basic understanding of engineering and/or manufacturing fundamentals
Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
Strong teaming skills with demonstrated leadership skills
Must be willing to relocate for rotating assignments

Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in the design field such as hardware design, systems design or software design/applications
A strong commitment to a career in technology and a passion for engineering
Demonstrated an analytic approach to problem solving
Demonstrated program / project management skills working on and leading teams

The base salary for this position is set at $76,000 and this position is eligible for a target bonus of 5% of base salary. Relocation support is available for qualified moves to a new city. Performance-based salary increases are reviewed after each completed rotation.
