Job Description Summary

AvioAero is reinforcing the focus to excellence in Aeronautical Engine & Mechanical Transmissions (ie turboprop and turbofan engines, accessory drivetrains, helicopter reduction gearboxes, etc).
In this spirit, we are looking for a talented and experienced fluidic system engineer, expected to design, support production and customer in activities within the Controls and Accessories Engineering organization, related to control systems, gearbox and engine components.
The position is requiring important involvement into technical assessment and management of new system development through a deep collaboration with the Engineering and System departments and activities aimed at developing and supporting system product and system producibility.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

The Fluidic System Engineer will be part of Engineering Accessories team. In this position you will be in charge of the following activities:

Release technical requirements of system, sub-system and components.
Design, validate and deal negotiation of technical and functional interfaces.
Release requirements for complex rigs and rig facilities.
Support and be consulted about multidiscipline (Fluidic, controls, Thermal, Mechanic and Electric). Support for selection and problem solving of rig supplier and rig sub-tier is required.
Post process data acquiring, elaborating , deducing and correlating with physics phenomena. Reporting to Leadership community after specialist go-ahead, is required
Create Fluidic Model designing complex networks. Ability to design and predict steady state condition.
Deal investigations, identifying root causes with a defined and rigorous methodology. Containment and corrective action proposal, considering product phase (development or production) is required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university
Proficiency in written and oral English and italian
Previous proven working experience, preferably in engineering section
Knowledge of Fluid System Softwares (modeling, post processing/ results)
Knowledge of Mathworks Softwares (MATLAB/Simulink) and their tools
Knowledge of operative systems (MS Windows, Linux/UNIX)
EU work permit

Desired Characteristics

Experience on Fluidic systems (fuel, oil, air) and Fluidic System component (valves, filters, pipes, accessories, sensors, heat exchangers).
Knowledge of Thermal Management System
PhD in fluidic disciplines will be considered as a plus
Knowledge of aviation component certification process
Knowledge of CAD modeling
Basis of dynamic/transient network behavior is welcome.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Capability to interface with internal departments and to manage technical relationship with external companies, Suppliers and Customers.
