Role Summary/Purpose
Fleet Reliability Operations (FRO) is the technical solution provider, maximizing the performance of our wind turbines with a motivated team using advanced
technologies. In the FPE role you will be responsible to resolve the technical issues of the Fleet wind turbines and support the Services team on improving park availability as well as lead technical discussions with customer’s technical teams.
Essential Responsibilities
· Provide technical support for internal and external customers via telephone and ServiceNow.
· Handling of wind turbine messages
escalated to the FPE team.
· Participate and lead local/global projects to develop and maintain productivity tools and metrics.
· Diagnostic, fault analysis and performance checks of wind turbines and report out any trends to the cross functional teams.
· Generate meaningful reporting to show improvement status for the fleet.
· Look for systemic fleet issue and escalate to the required teams.
· Support the 8D process and work close with PSE.
· Look proactively for turbine improvements.
· Support technical customer reviews to support the CRM's.
· Support tool development and implementation.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Multiple years of technical experience, with background on wind turbines.
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge/experience.
· Experience in fault diagnosis of wind turbines, troubleshooting and proven knowledge of the entire wind turbine technology and system integration.
· Good expression and communication skills in English - spoken and written.
· Successful integration in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
· Ability to communicate requirements and facilitate good practice-sharing in a motivating, engaging way.
· Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders to become Supporters.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
· Familiar with statistics and six sigma quality concepts.
· Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
· Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results.
· Willingness to travel, flexibility.
· Open minded.
Desired Characteristics
· Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex/technical information orally and in writing.
· Six Sigma certified.
· Multiple years of technical experience in Wind turbines.
