Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Finance Intern will support the supply chain team in providing finance support to the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Supply Chain operations team at the Dung Quat (Vietnam) plant.
Essential Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to supply chain team for all manufacturing finance activities
• Support factory transformation and growth by meeting the manufacturing target and operating budget
• Engage in planning & analysis
• Support operation teams in implementing and achieving plant operating metrics (KPI’s) such as % Direct Labor, productivity, quality, inventory, and cash, metrics
• Track actual Manufacturing Hours vs. Plan, provide variance analysis and support corrective action
• Track P&E investments within the budget and reconcile to the ledger
• Support setting up functional budgets and track actuals against the budget
• Support site variable & base cost out actions and drive financial accountability for cost
• Work with Controllership to oversee Balance Sheet and support annual physical inventory tracking
• Work with Controllership to perform monthly/quarterly closing activities
• Support ad hoc finance projects/initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance from an accredited college or university
• Fresh university graduate with maximum 1 year of working experiences
• Work on site in Dung Quat Industrial Zone
