Job Description Summary

The Field Engineer will be responsible for onsite installation of motors and variable speed drives systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation. And provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sites.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

· 
Perform on-site installation, Commissioning, refurbishment, Startup, Maintenance, Trouble Shooting & Upgrading of  Medium Voltage  synchronous and induction motors , generators  , excitation & AVR systems. With knowledge on Medium Voltage Variable speed drives systems

· 
Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services.

· 
Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sites .

· 
Writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheets and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis.

· 
Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites. 

· 
Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards. 

· 
Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages

Required Qualifications

· 
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university

· 
Fresh graduates up to 2 years of experience in field services in electrical field.

· 
Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.

· 
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time, as required 

Desired Characteristics

· 
Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license 

· 
Ability and willingness to work remotely; as required

· 
Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
