Role Summary/Purpose
As a Field Service Technician you will participate in the daily installation and servicing of Pressure Control equipment. In this role you will perform assignments as directed by the Service Manager and Branch Manager, plus other assignments as required. You will work effectively with other work groups: EHS, Sales, Maintenance, other Personnel and Management.
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Field Service Technician you will:
· Under the direction of the Service Manager and Branch Manager, perform several tasks associated with the operation, rig-up / down of equipment & tools and related equipment in the shop, yard, or location
· Preform duties which may involve some technical elements but primarily focused on running equipment / machinery / systems
· Play a role in hands-on and directly manipulate equipment, machinery or systems requiring precise instrumentation / operation
· Be trained in operating more than one type of equipment or combinations of equipment / processes (level is determined by competency development program)
· Conduct field quality audits and evaluations to ensure GE policies and procedures are being adhered to in their entirety.
· Be familiar with all services provided by GE Pressure Control in order to accompany and train current employees as well as newly hired employees
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
· Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or oil field
Eligibility Requirements:
· Ability and willingness to be available to work on-call, as required
· Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL license
· Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
· Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
· Ability and willingness to be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
· Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Ability and willingness to be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
