Role Summary/Purpose

The Field Service Level III (3) Installer will work on the addition or removal of wiring and connections on non-working DC power equipment, weekly tool inventory, writing and submitting the MOP (Method of Procedure), JIM (Job Information Memorandum) preparation and submittal, time-sheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and house cleaning on the job site.
Essential Responsibilities

As the Field Service Level III Installer, you will: 

·  Have on-time completion and quality of the installation project 
·  Support the services division job package administration including weekly tool inventory, writing and submitting the MOP, JIM preparation and submittal, timesheet for self and crew, safety adherence, and house cleaning 
·  Be responsible for the inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings 
·  Follow all EHS guidelines 
·  Add or remove all wiring and connections on non-working DC power equipment and assisting Level IV Installer on working equipment 
·  Assist Level IV Installer on lead verification (voltage) 
·  Add or remove telecom batteries 
·  Add or remove common systems equipment hardware
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED 
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecom DC power equipment installation
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience of skills sets for a Level II (2) Installer (Example: pulling cable, sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting, etc.)   ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

·  Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100% of the time
·  Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)
·  Ability and willingness to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. 
·  Ability and willingness to use a lifting technique to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries 
·  Ability and willingness to frequently push or pull cables up to 60 lbs. 
·  Ability and willingness to frequently climb ladders up to 8 ft. 
·  Ability and willingness to frequently work / stand on ladders for long periods of time 
·  Ability and willingness to stand for a prolonged period of time
·  Ability and willingness to frequently reach above, below or at shoulder level 
·  Abiliry and willingness to frequently bend, twist or stoop
·  Ability and willingness to frequently crouch or squat
·  Ability and willingness to be exposed to central office environment with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold 
·  Ability and willingness to work with computers and result in extensive exposure to PC and CRT screens
