Role Summary/Purpose

Lead and produce events with a key focus on customer experience, brand promotion, thought leadership and sales enablement. Interface with business leadership, and within communications, product management, product marketing and sales functions to ensure coordinated messaging and demand generation.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Enhance the overall productivity of the Event Marketing team by supporting the production of global branded and industry events

·  Create and manage project timelines and work back plan; oversee core event work stream(s); ensure deliverables and milestones are met and act as the primary point of contact for these events

·  Support and coordinate logistics and production for events (which may include onsite set up, lodging and transportation)

·  Excel in the knowledge and application of event management technologies including CVENT to support the execution of event management

·  Track and report on key event status metrics throughout the event cycle

·  Manage global events calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts and maximize awareness amongst key stakeholders

·  Support the preparation of executive presentation materials

·  Monitor event industry trends to stay contemporary and cutting edge in the application of technology and design of customer experience

·  Act as a key contributor in developing best practices in event marketing process & performance monitoring

·  Ensure that all members of the team have clear line of site to roles & responsibilities (event staff, speakers, etc) before, during and after the event

·  Recruit, manage and develop a high performing team in support of the event marketing execution
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business

·  At least 3-5 years of professional experience

·  Must be willing to travel (15%)

·  Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
