Role Summary/Purpose

The Component Test Technician Provides technical assistance in all aspects of the test setup, test execution and data analysis of engine components.
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, as the Component Test Technician, you will :

·  Interface with external organizations & internal supporting functions; coordinates the efforts of project team members in order to accomplish overall goals

·  Act as a project leader on specific tasks within the Component Test organization

·  Facilitate interaction of staff members with each other and external organizations

·  Periodically prepare and implement supporting work plans

·  Coordinate, direct, and coach the activities of project team members

·  Assist the staff contributor or manager in planning work activity for the organization
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Associate’s degree in an applicable technical discipline {i.e. Aviation Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Technology, Chemical Technology, etc.,} (Or a High School Diploma / GED equivalent and 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or testing environment)

·  Demonstrated success in a cross-functional team environment

·  Experience working in a jet engine or component testing environment
