Role Summary/Purpose

The EHS Coordinator will assist the EHS Manager with all day-to-day EHS department duties. Roles will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. Individuals will generally either be located at the Shreveport site. Includes EHS professionals involved in “designing for EHS” (NPI), individuals responsible for customer or industry engagement, and EHS professionals working at customer sites or projects.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Operate and maintain Hazardous Waste Storage Facility within regulatory limits.
·  Assist with environmental, health & safety (EHS) tours, audits, & surveys throughout GE Meter to document compliance status.
·  Provide internal and external EHS sampling (monitoring) and analysis to provide data needed for internal or external reporting & compliance.
·  Collect data, prepare computations, and prepare reports & permit applications as required.
·  Conduct pulse audits, prepare EHS instructions, standard operating procedures & plans as assigned.
·  Assist with EHS training as required.
·  Provide technical support to pollution and/or risk prevention projects as assigned.
·  Maintain EHS files and records.
·  Miscellaneous administrative work, process invoices, component back charging, obtain quotes, purchase shop supplies, chemicals, maintenance supplies, instruments, replacement equipment, services, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
