The role has the ability to influence eLearning strategy and delivery, bringing passion, creativity and flair to our digital learning and development portfolio, which is focused on supporting customer facing teams to reach their full potential.
Essential Responsibilities

It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Digital Learning and Instructional Designer to join and to share, and develop, a digital experience, delivering outstanding, and engaging digital learning. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective, appealing and engaging manner.

·  Develop interactive, engaging, and impactful digital learning experiences, to upskill those who face our customers daily. 
·  Assess learning needs and the target audience, analysing existing instructional materials, for impact. 
·  Develop and design online materials such as lesson plans, lesson content, learning objectives and assessment tools 
·  Identify opportunities where e-learning would be an effective alternative to existing ILT and classroom based training courses. 
·  Partner with Subject Matter Experts within the Global Commercial organisation to create and design e-learning courses for our Customer-facing teams. This includes creating SCORM content using Articulate Storyline and other e-learning tools; building quizzes and interactivity; audio recording; testing of courses prior to their release.
·  Creation of video-based content using platforms such as Camtasia 
·  Continuously update, maintain and improve existing elearning assets. 
·  Work closely with the owners of the Learning Management System to design effective user interfaces to our online course content.
Qualifications/Requirements

Technical Requirements:

·  Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology 
·  Deep working knowledge of software packages used in the creation of e-learning courses, which may include Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Articulate 360 & Adobe Captivate 
·  Good knowledge of SCORM technologies
·  Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, Java script, CSS)  
·  Good working knowledge of e- appropriate video editing tool, including Camtasia, as well as their specific implementation within a virtual learning environment

Approach to Learning & Development Requirements:

·  Strong knowledge and experience of learning theories, assessments and evaluation methods, as well as a thorough understanding of Adult Learning Principles
·  Proven track record in designing, developing, creating and implementing effective and engaging elearning courses and curricula for a global audience
·  Proven track record of championing and implementing the use of e-learning curricula 
·  Weave newly absorbed information into a story that learners will find meaningful 
·  Visualize oneself as the learner 
·  The ability to think creatively about how to deliver training, get engagement from end users, coaches and management
·  Ability to deal with technical requirements and excellent stakeholder management skills
·  Absorb mass amounts of content in a short period of time and filter out only what’s relevant 
·  Visual design skills and ability to storyboard 
·  Proven project management experience to take digital learning from concept to deliver 
·  Knowledge of blended learning solutions
