Role Summary/Purpose

The Connectivity & IT Support Intern will support the Service Delivery team in providing system installation and configuration support to clients and internal department. He will help the tutor to assure accurate code migration of new installation and upgrades.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Support the tutor in managing the entire process of medical system remote connection for especially Ultrasound systems

·  Learn how to provide technical remote support to internal and external customers

·  Find all the useful information to customer on connectivity opportunities and services

·  Support the tutor in providing system analysis

·  Direct contact customer to explain the benefit and functionality of GE remote connection

·  Ensure IT solution in compliance to GEHC standards

·  Document and track code errors to ensure fixed before customer delivery
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Master’s degree in IT/telecommunication/electronic engineering or Technical diploma in a related field or equivalent knowledge or work experience

·  Cooperate with central team members in sharing best practices and challenges of connectivity processes

·  Knowledge of TCP/IP , VPN (Virtual Private Network) solutions, IPSEC/SSL

·  Italian and English fluency

·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Knowledge of medical standards (DIOM, HL7, IHE)

·  Knowledge of IT security and data privacy

·  Proactive and problem-solving attitude in international environment

·  Good communication skills
