Role Summary/Purpose

The Configuration Management Specialist prepares and releases Commercial Items and Product Model Structures in the Engineering system and the implementation in the Order Management/ERP system. This role will ensure quality set-ups in compliance with product controllership requirements, as well as responsibility for the coordination, execution, synchronization, and status reporting across appropriate platforms.
Essential Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional and modality teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of product model (ATO & PTO Model) and commercial item creation and change requests.
• Launch, facilitate and consolidate results from required technical and functional assessments.
• Ensure changes are compliant with Product Controllership requirements and routed for appropriate approvals prior to release.
• Works closely with Configuration Management Leader on implementation timing and requirements to minimize quote and order impact.
• Work with other functions including Engineering, Manufacturing & Order Management as part of the orchestrated change process to ensure product and offering creation and change is synchronized across all appropriate IT platforms.
• Serve as expert on commercial parts and structures sold for responsible products. Support part set-up troubleshooting & quality checks across PDM, ERP & ITO platforms.
• Maintain & troubleshoot ATO & PTO Model structure and compatibility rules in the Oracle Configurator.
• Provide early detection of potential conflicts found in change requests and highlight simplification opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field equivalent (defined as a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience).
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience and demonstrated aptitude as a project team member in a commercial, technical, or operations environment.
3. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
4. Previous experience working with IT Platforms for Product Data Management or Commercial ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as PDM (MyWorkshop), GPM and Inquiry to Order (ITO) platforms (such as Sales Workbench).
5. Strong working knowledge of the English language (oral and written)
6. Must submit application for employment through COS to be considered
7. Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Characteristics

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with GEHC IT tools.
2. 3+ years of previous work experience at GE Healthcare.
3. Demonstrated experience with global lifecycle management.
4. Demonstrated success working collaboratively with global and cross-functional team members.
5. Demonstrated technical skills with the ability to comprehend new computer based tools/applications quickly.
6. Previous experience working in a regulated business/industry.
