Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a Commercial Engineer to join our Commercial Fulfilment & Engineering team and assume responsibility for proposal activities, basic process designs, budgetary and final proposals within an assigned region, as well as periodic support for other Commercial Engineers within the group.

This position may require some travel.
Essential Responsibilities

The objective of this assignment to provide a development opportunity to demonstrate capability in:
• Leading coordination of all BMS project related ITO (Inquiry to Order) activities
• Successful and productive collaboration with the sales team in development of opportunities and hence drive business growth
• Establishing a strong internal network to enhance successful collaboration with all internal functions that are involved in a BMS project all the way from ITO to OTR.

Essential responsibilities include:
• Support development and closure of key deals to maximize revenue generation.
• Support Sales teams to properly structure a deal and optimize profitability through a thorough understanding of the project life cycle costs and financing requirements where applicable.
• Support Sales teams to structure deals to combine equipment, services and specialty chemicals and clearly develop & communicate value propositions for each BMS offering.
• Support Sales teams in the continuous development and/or fine tuning of country specific business plans and market research.
• Timely preparation of budgetary and final proposals.
• Generate process designs.
• Generate/Coordinate Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings.
• Apply costing and process design strategies to position the company in the early stages of project development and to increase probability & success.
• Adhering to all internal procedures related to bid preparation, proposal tracking, authorization of Order Packages and sales forecasting.
• Provide training to both CF&E and Sales Teams on the BMS portfolio of Solutions and all related aspects.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, civil or environmental engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering or equipment supply field
• Profound knowledge of Filtration, Ion Exchange, Membrane Separation Technologies and Membrane Process Equipment
