Role Summary/Purpose

The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing high-quality parts in accordance with the correct engineering drawing and appropriate work order cards. This will be accomplished by utilizing one or more conventional machine tools such as hobs, lathes, mills & grinders.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of CNC Machinist, you will:

·  Perform minor preventive maintenance on machines

·  Be responsible for operating/maintaining other machines and equipment

·  Inspect and measuring machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications

·  Inspect shop equipment daily

·  Keep all working areas & equipment safe and free of debris and oil

·  Comply with all EHS requirements
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

·  Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

·  Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

·  Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

·  Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
