Role Summary/Purpose

Cable Tray Arrangement engineer is expected to do the following activities:
• Plan for the cable tray sizes based on cable quantities.
• Build the 3D model.
• Position the route of cable tray in the general arrangement drawings as per projects requirements for power plants.
• Execute all activities complying Quality and EHS rules from the Company & relevant codes & standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Creating 3D model as per contract requirements, work instructions, installation guidelines and best practices comprising of equipment, civil, piping & valves, access and maintenance.
• Preparation & review of Cable Tray Arrangement drawings.
• Follow-up and checking interface data with client, partners, equipment suppliers, piping, civil etc.
• Preparation of 2D drawings.
Tendering/ISP activities:
• Support to tender team as per requirement.
• Support to standardization/cost out efforts.

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Electrical engineering or long years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge & skills of AVEVA PDMS/E3D
• At least 3-5 years of experience in 3D arrangement design of Power plants.
• Knowledge of cable sizing and cable routing.
• Knowledge of power plant design.
