Role Summary/Purpose
The Assembly Technician will perform duties in the assembly, testing, greasing, painting, repair, disassembly of wellhead and frac equipment.
Essential Responsibilities
Initially under the guidance or instruction of an experienced Shop Supervisor the incumbent will undertake any or all of the following:
· Assemble, test, grease, paint, disassemble and repair Oilfield wellhead equipment.
· Utilize overhead cranes, forklifts, hydraulic torque wrenches, manual tools to complete daily tasks.
· Maintain/inspect all GE property, including tools, and machinery, etc. in a clean and ready state.
· Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management or indicated by responsibilities
Qualifications/Requirements
· 3 years oilfield experience is desirable but
not required.
· Ability to identify basic wellhead and frac equipment is desirable but not
required.
· Must
communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
· The
candidate must demonstrate a high capacity to work well work either
independently (after proper training) or within a diverse team with direction
coming from multiple sources.
