Role Summary/Purpose

The UK Oracle ERP Support team is seeking an individual to provide administrative and functional assistance to the IT Support team, helping them maintain and improve service delivery to the Cheltenham business.
Essential Responsibilities

• Become skilled at various approaches to monitor ERP applicaton via defined metrics, incident management and compliance. Proactively learns new IT tools. 

• Identifies opportunities for improvement and promotes their adoption.  
• Manage IT incident/request queue ensuring all tickets are assigned and being worked appropriately. Liaise with Capgemini resources on ticket priority levels. 

• Manage change control and change approval process to ensure all prerequisites are complete and all audit requirements fulfilled prior to final approval 
• Be aware of system-wide changes and application deployments that might impact application availability for users and co-ordinate application outages and communicate them to business. 
• Produce and deliver all support metric reports to agreed schedule 
• Support contingent workers, access and renewals along with on and off boarding activities 
• Holiday cover for Instance Manager

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (fresh graduate welcome) 
• IT awareness and orientation 
• Interest in technology advancements

Desired Characteristics

• Verbal and written communication skills 
• Familiarity with MSWord, PowerPoint and Excel particularly with regards to analyzing and presenting data 
• Time management, scheduling and prioritization skills 
• Oracle ERP experience desirable but not required
