Role Summary/Purpose
The Advanced Manufacturing Operator is responsible for performing any of the CR9 pool positions.
Must be able to use miscellaneous equipment and work from miscellaneous verbal and written instructions.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Advanced Manufacturing Operator you will:
· Be responsible for assembly of printed wire assembly (PWA) boards, subassemblies, application of labels and operation of testing equipment
· Participate in and support process improvement projects and initiatives as required
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability be able to lift 40 lbs
· Ability to distinguish colors
· Take responsibility for keeping work area free of hazards. Adhere to all established safe work practices
· The CR09 Advanced Manufacturing Operator job classification is a “pool” position meaning it involves numerous possible work assignments, the quality system training requirements
· Assembly – IPC Level 3
· Post-Assembly – IPC Level 2
· Materials – IPC Level
· Ability to successfully complete the training required for their assignment
Desired Characteristics
· Ability and willingess to understand verbal and written directions, bills of
materials, assembly instructions, assembly drawings and associated
written materials
· Ability and willingness to learn basic PC skills
