Quality Engineer M/F

Job description

As a Quality Engineer for the Quality team located in Montgomeryville, PA you will control the day to day operations of the quality systems within the manufacturing facility. You will also conduct quality problem analysis to support the local management and production team initiatives.

A week in the life of

• You will review production and quality data to control and improve processes, provide support to production departments and resolve limitations and/or bottlenecks in the manufacturing process
• You will maintain the customer complaint database and support 8D analysis to the appropriate area owners
• You will recommend, review and implement specification revisions and quality standards related to process control, sampling and statistical techniques
• You will evaluate the results of sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques to continuously enable timely corrective actions and to ensure adherence to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification standards
• Analyze and review processes to recommend quality process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques
• Train other employees in the use of quality applications or tools as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• To succeed at this job, you must have demonstrated analytical skills, problem solving skills, and critical thinking ability. You must also have the ability to use deductive reasoning and potential problem analysis to solve or recommend solutions to manufacturing processes.
• You must be fluent in English.
• We would like someone to join our team who is able to multitask, prioritize and establish a workflow for competing priorities and able to work in a fast-paced deadline drive environment.
• You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or similar field.
• We are looking for someone with 1-3 years in a manufacturing quality environment or similar role evaluating and recommending process outputs and procedures within quality parameters.
