Job description

This is a phone based sales role with the task of handling daily communications and sales with end users and Gemalto's various channel partners in the UK and Republic of Ireland Territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation and lead qualification for sales of our strong authentication, network security, encryption and key management solutions within territory.

You will be in continuous contact with our Channel Partners and manage the new business opportunities/pipeline in close partnership with the UK Sales Team.-

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:

· Phone based selling for lead generation & appointment setting.
· Management of internal lead queue & management of the inside sales (Direct and Channel sales) across UK and Ireland
· Interact & support Sales/Marketing campaign initiatives.
· Primary product focus will be Gemalto`s Enterprise & Cybersecurity product line
· Account management for existing mid size and small customer accounts
· Customer prospection and qualification.
· Assisting customers with partners through the sales cycle till deal closure
· Coordination with Regional Sales Manager to monitor field activities and internal activities
· Communicate effectively to address customers' issues with SafeNet internal departments (Professional service, Presales, Customer Care, Technical Support, Field Marketing)
· Manage small projects on an ad-hoc basis
· Support Partner Marketing initiatives & Partner call outs.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualification/ Skills/ Experience Requirements:

• BSc or relevant degree required: Business Administration, Computer Science or a related qualification
• Proven track record in direct and channel sales of IT solutions over the phone and online media
• Strong commercial negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent understanding of customer needs and applications:
o Technical understanding of IT Security market spaces as strong authentication, network security, transaction security and encryption
o Understanding of various customer industries
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills when handling customers in new business sales over the phone and e-mail
• Proficient in the use of CRM applications
• Team player with high level of drive
• Excellent English language skills
