Job description

Cloud Automation engineer
The Cloud Automation Engineer works alongside Engineering and Cloud Service Engineers/Architects to help deliver the final application to production. He/she must have Good knowledge of automation practices in order to make sure that operations can support solutions with the highest quality. The knowledge of AWS cloud services will be a plus or some identical services in the area of Public cloud infrastructure.

A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A CLOUD AUTOMATION ENGINEER:

· You will support all application infrastructure to ensure our PaaS/IaaS platform is optimized for performance and reliability.
· You will consult with other technical team members and management on industry best practices. Discuss and agree on the most innovative solutions applicable to our cloud services environment.
· You will maintain and enhance internal tools.
· You will provide input to improve scalability and reliability of infrastructure to our Automation Architects
· You will deploy and assist with maintenance of automation technologies.
· You will document all build and run procedures when implementing new automation technologies.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
·  You need to have University degree, ideally in Software, Electronics or Telecommunications is preferred
·  You must have very good level of English (daily communication)
·  We are looking for someone with good in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl and Python and deep understanding of major linux OS families
·  We are looking for someone who can develop Automation Templates for various cloud resources (Infrastructure as Code – IaC) and have experience working with a CM product such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc
·  You should have experience performing the first level of troubleshooting, daily performance monitoring and health check of applications.
