As Senior analyst Commercial FP&A, you will partner with the Merchandise, E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Marketing teams to develop, maintain & deliver the annual and multi-year plans for Foot Locker EMEA across our Omni Channel platform. You will partner the translation of rapid business growth to operations and related financial implications, provide support for initiatives focused on improving Merchandise efficiencies and gross margin. You will identify process and productivity improvement projects both within business and finance organizations and drive these projects to completion.

Responsibilities

·  Drive and improve core FP&A processes around forecast, month-end closing and annual/ long-term plans for the commercial areas of FL Europe.
·  Develop, standardize, and report on weekly/monthly financial and operational performance metrics, including creation of KPI’s across countries to drive insights and synergies.
·  Identify operating improvements, deep dive on cost structures, and analyze business opportunities/investments.
·  Lead & Deliver Projects aiming to provide actionable insights to increase Profitability and improve current business practices.
·  Partner with global teams to develop strategic initiatives and implement processes to prioritize resource decisions & partner in implementing the initiatives
·  Translate multi-year goal statements into fundamental key performance indicators which can be used to effectively diagnose positive or negative trends and support business decisions.
·  Develop region-specific profitability plan/forecast and analyze performance in coordination with country heads and division leads – P&L E2E responsibility
·  Drives in year portfolio management to achieve growth and investment objectives * Identifies opportunities/risks to drive trade-off decisions * Builds strong collaborative business partnership across Sales, Direct, Brand, Merchandising and Operations to ensure alignment between market dynamics/requirements and the company strategies.
Qualifications

·  Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
·  4-6 years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibilities.
·  3+ years of dedicated FP&A experience.
·  Experience in FMCG, Ecom, Retail and/or Telecom is a plus.
·  Highly analytical, detail oriented with advanced modelling and reporting skills.
·  Experience with complex problem solving/process improvement is mandatory
·  Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical capabilities with ability to model new growth scenarios to help business partners make sound financial decisions.
·  Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, growing and ambiguous environment.
·  Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
·  Strong presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership.
·  Advanced excel and Power BI skills.
