Job description
As part of its development, FI Group is reinforcing its AIE department (AIE = Investment, innovation, growth, and export) and is recruiting an experienced consultant to actively contribute to the development of the European aid and subsidies sector.
Your role:
Within the Grants and Subsidies department, your main objective will be to advise and accompany our customers in identifying, applying for, and managing public funded grants at European level. You will support FI customers in the development of their EU Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) project idea (consortia & proposal development) and contribute to the different activities such as project management, dissemination, communication, and exploitation once the collaborative project has been selected for funding (project execution).
In collaboration with the other members of the team, your missions will be organised around three main axes:
- Project Execution
- Management of collaborative RDI projects (e.g. organisation of meetings, monitoring of project progress, coordination of the preparation of periodic activity reports, financial reporting, management of contract amendments, etc.)
- Advice and support to strategic exploitation and sustainability planning for European projects (e.g. Innovation Actions, RIAs)
- Support to dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities in on-going European projects.
- Support coordinators in the preparation of the Grant Agreement
- Consortia & Proposal Development
- Contribution to project conceptualisation including consortium building – an existing, personal network in the field of EU projects and notably civil security is appreciated
- Development and follow-up of budget negotiations
- Coordination of the scientific project proposal preparation including drafting and editing of non-technical/scientific proposal parts
- Administrative support to clients and consortia during proposal development
- Transversal activities
- Further enhance the methodology and processes developed for all EU grants services offered by FI Group (from project idea to exploitation) and align with other EU offices
- Analyse Horizon Europe strategic papers, work programmes, and call topics on a regular basis
- Implement the strategy and service offers defined by FI Group in France for Horizon Europe
- Support and guide the sales team during pre-sales and contract negotiations and follow-up
- Animate regularly the existing FI Group networks and continuously extend it (geography, type of organisations, etc.)
- Contribute to the EU taskforce of FI Group at European level by participating in regular meetings, the co-definition of the strategic agenda and collaboration plan, and contributing to operational working groups
Desired profile
You have at least 4 years of successful experience in a similar position (at a consulting agency, university, RTO, public institution…) preferably within the Civil Security ecosystem.
You are excited by the possibility to join a rapidly growing department with high market ambitions.
You are interested in RDI, able to adapt and get quickly familiar with new project concepts.
You are a real team player with excellent oral and written communication skills in both, English and French, and you wish to join a dynamic, solid, and agile company?
