Based in EMPI factory, Bataan, Philippines, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, we offer you a very challenging position that is a springboard for your international career within Essilor.
Poste et missions:
You will work as a key member of the Maintenance Department. Among the primary responsibilities of this role will be first to acquaint oneself with main facilities and production equipment. The main action will be to support implementation of a real Preventive Maintenance of facilities and main production equipment. You will be also member of Maintenance Asia and WW Techno-club.
We are awaiting from you, to be a force bringing forward proposals for improvements followed by implementation, to help to develop best practices related to Preventive Maintenance including: Maintenance KPI’ (MTTR, MTBF, EER,…) Annual plan Maintenance, minimum needed spare parts management, identification / validation of external maintenance contractors if any.
Your main challenges will be helping local teams to change practices and behaviors to progress a from curative maintenance situation to a real organization of Preventive Maintenance organized by levels (L1,L2,L3) where this concept is just nascent and requiring external support if needed.
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
(1) Preventive Maintenance
- identification of opportunities and solution:
- Contribute to improve and to sustain important KPI concerning (MTTR, MTBF, EER,…).
- Work with local teams in addressing and solving specifics cases due to possible improvement in terms of preventive maintenance.
- Proactively identify, define and implement opportunities for Preventive maintenance improvement.
- Benchmark best practices from others Essilor factories in Asia being part of Asia and WW maintenance techno-club.
- Optimize annual maintenance plan for some equipment, as well as the safety spare parts stock management.
- Analyze impact of preventive maintenance implementation and propose optimal solution in regard of cost / efficiency.
- Develop mid and long term continuous improvement mindset for Preventive Maintenance and best practices within the Plant.
(2) Project management – Preventive maintenance implementation:
For some defined equipment: Injection machines, Facilities, define annual maintenance plan, needed spare part to manage in stock and take the lead of actions.
Profil:
- Master degree in Industrial maintenance
- Fluent in English
- Experience as being Maintenance or Electro-mechanical Engineer is preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance deployment and organization is required
- Microsoft Office and Google tools
- Strong critical and interrogative thinking, problem solving ability
- Strong aptitude to multi-task, organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize based on highest value work
