The End User Technology Experience teamis looking for a UX Designerto understand and collaborate with cross functional teams to translate the design concepts to prototype solutions to create an optimized user experience.

The Usability Analyst will utilize design tools and usability testing methods to provide actionable insights that drive product and process improvements. The qualified applicant will work to improve the utility, usefulness, and desirability of technology experiences in primary collaboration with User Experience Researchers, Product Managers, and Information Technology partners.

 Responsibilities include designing and documenting the user experience; conducting ux reviews and presenting the findings; developing test plans and scripts, conducting tests, test analysis and reporting of the results. Ability to manage and provide directions and day to day tasks for the off-shore team members.

 

Essential Functions of the UX Designer:
· 
Hands-on UX leader with the ability to lead and collaborate with a team of UX professionals

· 
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to understand and define conceptual directions, user interaction and workflow models

· 
Deep understanding of user-centered design collaborating with researchers to conduct interviews and surveys, and use the information to create sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes

· 
Present information visually and verbally through low and mid-fidelity renderings and clickable prototypes

· 
Test and validate working hypothesis with users through usability testing of wireframes, clickable prototypes and finished product

· 
Clearly and quickly deliver ideas to cross-functional teams

· 
Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
· 
     Apply design thinking to the end-to-end customer experience

· 
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines

· 
Online portfolio with the previous work samples

· 
Skilled in running usability studies with little supervision

· 
Skilled in design tools like Balsamiq, Photoshop, and InVision

Other Requirements:
· 
Must be willing and able to work outside a traditional 8am to 5pm based on testing needs.

· 
The role may require minimum travel.

Job Requirements:
Education:
· 
Bachelors in Human Factors, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Usability Engineering, or Design related field preferred

· 
Team management experience is a definite plus

Experience:
· 
At least 5-8 years of experience in user experience field, performing usability and traditional research activities
