The opportunities: your next adventure awaits

As Trainee Legal Counsel/Jurist for EY Luxembourg, you will be a member of our General Counsel’s Office (EY internal/in-house Legal Department), reporting to the Country General Counsel and working on a various range of legal topics. Under the supervision of the EY Luxembourg General Counsel you will:

·  Draft, review and negotiate EY Luxembourg’s simple services agreements, partnership agreements and contracts with suppliers (NDAs, procurement agreements, IT contracts, General Terms and Conditions, etc.).
·  Prepare/review contracts templates for the firm’s contracts library.
·  Conduct legal researches and provide/prepare legal advice/memo on various legal matters (commercial law, new technology, intellectual property rights, contracts, corporate law, etc.).
·  Assist the General Counsel in his function of Data Protection Officer (keep register of processing activities up to date, reply to data subjects’ access/erasure rights, review data processor agreements, draft policies, deliver advice on GDPR and privacy matters, etc.).

·  Qualifications
·  You are Master student in Business or Company Law, Contract Law or New Technology Law/Data Protection.
·  You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
·  You are willing to learn and develop yourself and appreciate working on various legal topics.
·  You are rigorous, understand confidentiality requirement and show organizational skills.
·  Knowledges and past experiences as trainee in contracts drafting and/or new technology law and GDPR matters is an asset.
·  You are business fluent in both English and French. Any other language skills such as German will be considered as an asset.
