Job description

Do you have a strong track record in project and change management delivery, preferably in a large partnership of comparable size and complexity in a Talent / HR environment? Then this could be the role for you!

The opportunity

The Talent Projects & Change Analyst sits in the UKI Program & Change team. The Talent Projects & Change Analyst (hereafter referred to as the TP&CA) will work closely with the Talent Projects and Change Lead to help maintain the portfolio of Talent projects to ensure successful coordination and overall delivery of UK Talent projects. The TP&CA will work with UK Talent team members as well as Global Talent staff to help implement Talent projects and change manage them accordingly.

The TP&CA will take personal accountability for providing project management support or change support on selected Talent projects and drive to ensure their successful completion.

 

 

Your key responsibilities
 
Portfolio management

·  Assess the project fundamentals of status, risks, issues etc. in a fast moving, constantly changing environment and update the monitoring mechanisms so that the Talent activity is continuously visible and current
·  Own and maintain all dashboards, trackers, radars as necessary taking the initiative to clearly escalate and communicate as necessary
·  Empower the Talent Projects & Change Lead so that they are enabled to clearly articulate the complex landscape of Talent projects in the context of the Talent program, upwards through the organisation
·  Stay closely aligned to Talent project managers and sub-function experts and become a subject matter expert in the projects, understanding them at a detailed level and giving early visibility of project delays, resourcing needs, potential cross-overs with other projects etc.
·  Own the relationship with the CBS Change Lead to ensure a tight and dynamic connection between Talent projects and the change management mechanisms that are communicated upwards throughout the organisation

Project and change support

·  Directly accountable for delivering project and change management on selected high profile, technologically led Talent projects overseeing tasks such as (but not limited to) project planning, technical tool review and selection, stakeholder management, communications delivery, budget management, workshop running / facilitation etc.
·  Provide support, guidance and expertise as required to Talent project managers, stakeholders including IT and Procurement to ensure successful delivery of projects
·  Transfer key programme management skills to Talent staff leading projects in order to build up capability and reduce the need for support going forward
·  Support project managers in the delivery of all their duties to ensure programme objectives/outcomes are achieved successfully

Relationship Management

·  Own relationships with Talent sub-function leads and project managers, the CBS operations team, IT, Procurement and InfoSec team members and other stakeholders on individual projects

 

Skills and attributes for success

·  Thorough knowledge and experience of project management approach and methodology (ideally Prince 2), experience of Agile project delivery methods
·  Digitally astute, experienced in systems, digital capabilities and emerging technology
·  Knowledge of Talent / HR structure, functions, processes and systems including next-gen HR technology
·  Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sub-functions and the wider EY business
·  Experienced in delivering effectively on multiple projects concurrently
·  Excellent people management skills
·  Ability to operate calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities
·  Strong self-starter
·  Strong communication skills (oral/written)
·  Enthusiastic, committed and determined
