Job description
Essential Functions of the Job:
· Successfully initiating, executing and delivering research projects involving market assessment & sizing, competitive analysis & benchmarking and industry/sector analysis.
·
Taking ownership of all the business research assignments entrusted and work closely with the team to produce impeccable quality outputs
·
Conduct secondary/primary research based on the tactical and strategic information needs of stakeholders including market insights around products and services exclusively developed leveraging SAP platforms
·
Track competition and leading organizations launching new products and services
·
Scan the market to proactively identify ideas for product development
·
Analyze ideas for market fitment and build business case to support development of world class innovative product
·
Monitor global technology ecosystem for important trends
·
Analyze third party research (e.g. Gartner, Forrester, CEB) for applicability and translate relevant thought leadership
·
Track and analyze technology market for key activities and trends (e.g. product launches, mergers)
·
Assess technology solutions to advise on build vs buy decisions
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
· Exceptional strategic thinking, ability to consider impact and opportunities in a rapidly changing technology market, paired with ability to make sound decisions about where to focus
· Advanced knowledge of syndicated market intelligence sources, marketing research methodologies, and analytics.
· Recent experience in competitive market intelligence role with a technical SAP skill set
· Prior functional experience of SAP applications preferable.
· Technical experience preferably working for the support or consulting organization
· In-depth knowledge around technical and functional architecture, data model along with new and emerging SAP capabilities across product categories would be an added advantage
· Knowledge and hands on development/pre-sales experience with any of the SAP products: SAP S/4HANA, SAP C/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, SAP Qualtrics, SAP Cloud Platform
· Experience in sizing the market (top down and bottom up), finding competitors, finding the Market saturation point and conducting breakeven analysis
· Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with functional / technical staff, business stakeholders and IT management.
· Ability to lead through influence and to deliver results through others
· Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives, and to influence cross-cultural teams
· High degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

· 10-12 Years (Assistant Director - I)
Qualification:
· MBA/MCA/MTech preferred, Bachelor’s degree required
