EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

 

Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY toidentify new technology-based opportunities faster, and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Technology (ET) – ETsupports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. ET will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.  

The opportunity
 

Within Compute Services, the Compute Strategy function is responsible for the collaboration with the Compute Services leads, ET and the broader EY Technology to provide the overall Compute vision, integrated directional strategy, and associated roadmaps and investments. The group will work across the various domains as well as evolve or establish linkages and relationships across our partnering organizations. The function covers supporting initiatives across people, process and technology. The focus of the role is to move Compute Services in the direction of its vision to evolve EY’s Compute environment to one that is public cloud first, application-centric, delivers capability in real time and is driven by self-service with inherent operational risk and security mitigation.  The Compute Strategy organization will support the transformation to Product Lifecycle and Product Management capabilities.

Your key responsibilities
 

The Product Strategy Lead will be responsible for: 

·  Understanding of business strategy, IT product lifecycles, finance acumen around products, and deep understanding of IT Infrastructure across data centers, networks, cloud, platforms, and tools/monitoring
·  Ability to collaborate with all product and technology stakeholders to understand strategic requirements and defining a product roadmap
·  Tactfully collaborate cross-organizational work streams across Compute, ET and the broader EY Technology to identify inter / intra dependencies
·  Work with product teams to ensure execution of initiatives aligned to the large initiatives and to understand any barriers to target results
·  Extensive understanding and responsibility in project and program management experience in operational infrastructure environments
·  Lead and participate in strategic product development and strategy efforts
·  Manage the process to ensure the maintenance and refresh of the Compute product roadmaps working with stakeholders to understand changes and dependencies on a quarterly basis
·  Work across Compute with product owners on strategy and roadmaps framework 

Essential Responsibilities of the Job:

·  Interlocks – work across EY Technology to ensure awareness of strategic technical roadmaps and identification of inter/intra dependencies with goal to ensure all initiatives are aligned and moving in the direction of the strategy from a technology perspective 
·  Strategy Roadmaps – work across Compute Services on the quarterly refresh of the strategic technical roadmaps and execution plans
·  Innovation – spearhead meetings with legacy and start-up vendors on vendor product roadmaps and alignment to Compute Services; work with Product managers to ensure initiatives align to strategy and not investing in legacy without exception
·  Product Evolution – Lead and participate in strategic product development and strategy efforts; understanding of business strategy, IT product lifecycles and finance acumen around products; ability to collaborate with all product and technology stakeholders to understand strategic requirements and defining a product roadmap 

Client/Team Relationships

·  Effectively partner with Product Delivery groups, Team Leads, Senior Management and Project Managers  

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

·  Strong analytical ability in supported core technologies for large user bases
·  Broad range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in variety of environments
·  Interactions with various levels if IT and client serving teams.
·  Experience in project and program management
·  Excellent awareness of different cultures and working practices across the regions
·  Good presentation skills with ability to present material clearly and concisely to senior and/or executive management
·  Prior experience with Agile product development in a fast-paced environment
·  In depth understanding on IT from product and cost perspective

To qualify for the role you must have
 
Education:
·  A degree in Computer Science/Management or a related discipline, plus an industry accreditation or equivalent work experience.
·  10+ years of working experience will be considered in lieu of degree 
Experience:
·  10+ years of experience as a technical analyst with process improvement exposure
·  10+ years of experience in project management
·  Strong Agile / DevOps knowledge and experience.

Certification Requirements:

·  PMP and other frameworks certifications are a plus
·  ITIL Certification  
Ideally, you’ll also have
·  Fluent English skills in speech and writing.

·  Self-supporting and independent attitude.

Other Requirements:

 

As this is a role with global focus and responsibilities, you may be required to work outside of the normal working hours in your time zone in order to partner with other IT Services staff globally.  This role may also include travel, both domestic and international.
