Job description

Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.

Join our Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team and you will provide comprehensive, quality administrative and support services for all of our EY member firms. Our ESS professionals span a wide range of vital roles, from administrative support to facilities management, creative design, tax return processing, file management and emergency preparedness.

Job Summary:


The Hospitality & Workplace Services (H&WS) Receptionist, is an integral part of the H&WS Team. As the point of contact for guests and office personnel, you'll be a pivotal force in coordinating the connections to the H&WS team and the firm's resources to support office operations, meetings, events, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer phone calls to local office

Greet guests and ensure they connect with host

Provide answers to frequently asked questions about EY and EY's local offices

Receive, dispatch, and track requests and work orders to facilities team and building maintenance staff

Process client payments to the firm and submit check requests for vendor payments

Process business card and stationary requests

Distribute, track, and maintain security badges for guests and office personnel

Serve as a point of contact for employee parking requests, manage employee parking roster, and act as a liaison to parking vendor.

Manage internal ticket distribution process for local events

Maintain local office reception manuals

Manage high-profile meeting space reservations and service requests

Recommend ways to improve processes and better manage expenses

To qualify, candidates must have:

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Ability to learn and use reservation and integrated workplace management technology

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Minimum of 1-3 years related experience

High School diploma, or equivalent experience
