At EY, we are expanding our Microsoft cloud practice and specifically building our Technology Consulting (TC) team. Due to this expansion we are seeking to recruit high achieving Microsoft 365 (MS 365) Senior Developer to be part of our growing business and to support us in our NextWave Strategy. 


The opportunity

By joining the Technology Consulting team as an MS 365 Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building modern experience solutions around SharePoint Online page and web part models. You must have experience and knowledge on SharePoint Online platform and Azure related technologies and must be proficient with front-end programming languages. We are recruiting MS 365 Senior Developers primarily at Senior Consultant and Manager levels. We are seeking individuals with significant client-side experience or individuals who have gained project and technology delivery experience within large recognised organisations. We have extensive team growth plans in place with significant opportunities for candidates with drive and ambition to progress their career at pace.


Your key responsibilities

·  Create relevant code artefacts based on the defined functional specifications
·  Responsible for design, build, test and deployment efforts within the SharePoint Development Framework
·  Execute assigned tasks within a structured project environment and lead consultants in various project work streams
·  Work cooperatively in a team environment
·  Remain flexible on changing workloads
·  Be able to create clean, scalable SharePointAzure solutions that meet all companyclients design and functionality requirements


Skills and attributes for success

·  Ability to analyse client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients’ requirements and objectives.
·  Convert requirements to functional specs and functional design documents
·  Prototype and configure processes in SharePoint Online solutions to your client needs
·  Support testing the proposed system and train users
·  Teaming - Team Player
·  Curious and personable.

To qualify for the role, you must have

·  SharePoint Online (+3 years of hands-on experience)
·  SharePoint Framework (+2 years’ hands-on experience + proficiency)
·  Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks: Node.js, React, Gulp, and Yeoman
·  Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
·  Strong ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
·  Strong interpersonal skills while working with a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
·  Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to complete projects on time by meeting tight project deadlines


Ideally, you’ll also have

·  4-7 years of hands-on experience with modern web application of software development experience
·  Seasoned developer with solid knowledge of Microsoft stack
·  Hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript, JS Frameworks, SASS, HTML5, SOAP, REST, MVC, .NET Core, PowerShell, and Git
·  Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure: DevOps, App Service, Storage, Functions, Queues, Cloud Services, Containers, CI/CD Pipelines
·  Knowledge on Microsoft 365 PnP guidance, libraries and tools
·  Nice-to-have experience with agile tracking software such as Azure DevOps.
