Job Summary:
As a Consultant in our UKI Mobility Team, you will participate in the planning, coordination and management of International mobility assignments. You will guide and provide relevant advice to your stakeholders on all mobility related activities.

Essential Functions of the Job:

·  Work closely with home/host Mobility Coordinators to provide overall assignment management for inbound and outbound assignments, including but not limited to assignment initiation and assignment briefing
·  Work closely with internal departments (Talent team, Finance, Tax and Immigration) to ensure assignment is compliant
·  Work with external vendors to assist assignees in coordinating all aspects of relocation matters in relation to their assignments
·  Maintain frequent communication with assignees to ensure their assignment is progressing as planned
·  Provide day to day advice to the Talent Team, Service Line stakeholders, as well as assignees on mobility related queries, including but not limited to mobility policy, international and domestic (if applicable) assignments, and application of relevant immigration and taxation legislation
·  Assist with the preparation of relocation packages, including preparation of cost estimates and assignment contract
·  Ensure appropriate approvals of mobility assignments
·  Identify and discuss policy and process improvements
·  Resolve mobility related issues and escalate where needed
·  Involvement in various UKI Mobility Projects as required
·  Raise payment requisitions as needed
·  Coordinate reconciliation activities to ensure data quality is maintained. This includes, but not limited to the assignee data report, health insurance policy coverage, etc.
·  Update standard cost estimate data as required
·  Assist in the review of data and information maintained in knowledge tools
·  Assist in the compensation data collection process, as required by other countries’ offices
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

·  Familiarisation with the International Mobility Framework, Modular Mobility Framework, Assignment Policy Categories, Taxation and Immigration legislation and the exception process
·  Familiarisation with the Domestic Mobility Policy (if applicable) and main Talent/HR Policies
·  Managing the administration of international mobility assignments
·  Familiarisation with the Service Line, HR, Finance, PAS and other functions as needed and key personnel
·  Maintaining professional internal and external client relationships at all times
·  Prioritising work and managing workload in busy periods
Supervision Responsibilities:

·  A Mobility Consultant will not have any supervision responsibility within the Mobility Team. However, they may assign, allocate or review work from PAS and People Shared Services as appropriate
Technical Competence:

·  Demonstrate an ability to apply the relevant (assignment policies, expatriate cost, etc.) principles to business needs
·  Interpret and apply technical knowledge to existing stakeholder’s situation 
·  Ability to communicate effectively with Service Line leaders, Talent team, Tax & Immigration team, PAS, as well as external vendors
·  Ability to use a Global Mobility Technology tool as well as other Mobility and relevant HR systems and knowledge tools
·  Develop an understanding of stakeholder’s business environment and culture 
·  Show an awareness of Tax and Immigration legislation, as well as relevant employment law and other business or economic forces
·  Maintain and use (when appropriate) a network of contacts in other EY practices/departments
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

·  Good knowledge and experience of international mobility 
·  Competent at handling multiple tasks concurrently
·  Customer service oriented with good team spirit
·  Good communication, including intercultural communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
·  Strong attention to details
·  Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 
·  Good intellectual rigour and commercial awareness

Job Requirements:

Education:

·  Tertiary qualification in related discipline Experience:

·  1-3 years relevant experience in a large corporate organisation
·  Strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills will be highly valued
