Job Summary

Junior Project Manager is responsible for supporting project and program managers in delivering IT projects to schedule, budget and quality. The role requires experience in designing and delivering reports, processes as well as some knowledge of project management inter-related process stages i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management. Also junior project manager must have good stakeholder relationship management skills to successfully engage with the project team and project stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

· 
Design and delivery of regular and ad-hoc reports on project and program level.

· 
Design and implementation of project/documentation processes

· 
Ensuring project and program audit compliance

· 
Supporting project managers with task tracking, market research, document preparation

·  Independently delivers smaller initiatives/projects
· 
Conducts simple business analytics tasks & supports solution design process

· 
Proactively identify risks and issues on projects

· 
Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables

· 
Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution

· 
Analytical skills and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously 

Skills Requirements

· 
Experience designing and delivering reports to stakeholders on various levels,

·  Financial analysis
· 
Knowledge of project management methodology

· 
Knowledge of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g. RAIDS, budget, communication

·  Advanced Excel
· 
Strong team working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams

· 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and organizational skills

· 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing

·  Operate with minimal supervision
·  Advantageous, but not mandatory:
· 
Experience working with Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow

· 
TFS / JIRA / other similar

· 
Working with Agile/SAFe

Education
 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
 
Experiences
 
·  2 + years in a corporate IT environment
· 
1-3 years of experience either as junior project manager, PMO, analyst or reporting specialist

· 
Experience working with off-shore teams is preferred

· 
Experience working on a virtual/global team is preferred

· 
Strong team-working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams

 

Certification Requirements

 
· 
A relevant project management qualification (e.g. Prince Practitioner, CAPM, PMP) is preferred, but not mandatory
