IT Procurement Specialist

EY,multinational  professional services  firm is hiring IT Procurement Specialistto manage the Procurement of technology products, including hardware & Telecom, software and professional services, at an agreed set of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. The role will work closely with the GDSTechnology Sourcing leader supporting regional stakeholders.  

Main Responsibilities:

 

·  Manage Latin America (LATAM) sourcing projects.
·  Lead implementation of sourcing strategies in the region.
·  Ensure cost savings targets are met and ensure quality of service is not compromised.
·  Contribute to improve Spend Under Management metrics for the region.
·  Manage vendor interactions.
·  Maintain highest levels of integrity and ethical procurement process.
·  Ensure adherence to EY Procurement policy and processes, including collaboration with Legal (GCO), Risk Management and other EY support functions.
·  Responsible for driving engagement across the business units.
·  Prioritize and manage the implementation of multiple concurrent purchases.
·  Ensure timely execution of purchases. 
·  Provide accurate and timely reporting on deals and timely submission of savings forms.
·  Lead negotiations giving desired levels of cost savings.
·  Think creatively and provide innovative suggestions that will improve service delivery.

 

 

We Require:

·  At least 3-5 years of relevant progressive experience from a large organization, preferably in a regional role (LATAM).
·  Bachelor’s degree or above from an Engineering, commercial, business or procurement related discipline.
·  Strong communication (verbal and written) in English. Ability to conduct business and negotiate contracts (internally and with suppliers) in English - Portuguese is also desirable -.
·  Interpersonal skills – able to handle conflict situations and resolve issues satisfactorily.
·  Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key EY business stakeholders.
·  Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Ability to explain the decisions being taken to close procurement deals and share the outcome of the same.
