Job description

IT Advisor, Performance Improvement, IT Advisory (SAP - Business Intelligence) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Cleveland, OH.

 

Advise clients on Information Technology solutions to bridge the gap between business and IT. Advise on the provision of technology and architectural know-how, strategic direction for SAP investments in the area of business intelligence and analytics, in support of financial and operational performance improvement and initiatives. Create and maintain project support materials, including project plans, tracking documents, meeting notes, and status reports for SAP analytics programs. Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to relevant analytics architectural artifacts such as policies, standards, guidelines, roadmaps, and maturity models as it relates to SAP business intelligence eco-system. Estimate project work effort and assist in developing proposal response documents. Assist in pre-sales efforts, including collateral development, proposal response and customer demo requests. Develop internal training materials in the SAP analytics space (SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP Business Objects). 

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.  Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40 - 45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or Operations or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate advisory and/or consulting work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or Operations or a related field and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.  

Employer will accept a 3 or 4 year bachelor's degree or combination of degrees

Must have 4 years of experience in providing advisory services in the strategy, design, configuration, and implementation of end-to-end solutions in SAP analytics eco-system, including SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Business objects.  

Must have 4 years of functional and technical experience with at least two of the following SAP modules:  SAP BW, SAP ECC, SAP BOBJ, and/or SAP Business Explorer (BEx), 

Must have 3 years of experience with business intelligence and data warehouse concepts, analytics roadmaps, and SAP product convergence portfolios.

Must have 3 years of experience developing functional/technical specifications.

Must have 2 years of experience implementing  S4 HANA, FIORI, predictive analytics, SQL, SLT and embedded analytics

Must have 3 years of experience working with financial and operational KPIs (key performance indicators) in finance and supply chain across at least 3 industry sectors

Must have 2 years of experience working with next generation SAP products including SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) 

Must have 2 years  of experience in developing presentations

Must have 1 year of experience working with Agile /Scrum development methods.

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
