IT Advisor, IT Advisory, SAP – EIM Architect / Governance & Data Quality (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ.


Advise clients on Information Technology solutions to bridge the gap between business and IT. Serve as a trusted advisor for clients’ data landscapes, including business process, governance and quality. Develop strategies to effect performance improvements by implementing data governance, quality and management processes that align with overall corporate IT strategy. Act as a subject matter resource on data engagements involving the SAP EIM suite of applications, including SAP MDG, SAP MDM, SAP Information Steward and SAP BODS.  Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to relevant architectural artifacts and guidelines such as policies, standards, guiding principles, roadmaps, and maturity models as it relates to SAP EIM platform. Be responsible for project deliverables, including creating and reviewing project support materials, such as project plans, tracking documents, meeting notes, and status reports, business process documents and functional specs for SAP data engagements.   Assist in pre-sales efforts in form of collateral development, work effort estimation, proposal response and customer demo requests. Develop internal training materials in the SAP EIM space (SAP MDG on HANA, SAP Information Steward, SAP MDM, and SAP Data Services). Communicate effectively with client, senior management and team members with a wide range of understanding. Also presents and discusses work results clearly. 

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.  Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.


Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm



Must have a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate advisory and/or consulting work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.  

Must have experience with at least one end-to-end implementation of SAP MDG & Information Steward on HANA platform to implement data governance and data quality business processes to govern data and integrate with multiple systems, including both SAP and non-SAP 

Must have 4 years of experience in providing advisory services in the strategy, design, configuration, and implementation of end-to-end solutions in SAP EIM applications including SAP MDG, SAP MDM, SAP Information Steward, SAP Data Services across Customer, Material and Vendor domains

Must have 3 years of experience in the standard development lifecycle (SDLC) and deliverables/artifacts for each stage such as documented requirements, develop design and functional specification, build and technical specifications, deploy overall solution, and go-live support. 

Must have 3 years of experience working directly with business and developing functional/technical specifications

Must have 3 years of technical and business problem solving experience 

Must have 1 year of experience in one or more of the following MDM tools: Informatica, Talend, Stibo, Tibco 

Must have 1 year of experience of working with Agile / Scrum development methods.

Must have 2 years of experience in developing and giving presentations

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
