The opportunity
HR Services provides the most effective and efficient solution for Talent’s strategic and operational needs. We leverage our global strength and scalability to drive the HR-related technology, projects and processes that allow EY to deliver against the changing requirements within our Talent organization to enable success. HR Services offers key services to EY’s Talent teams (global, area, region and country) within the businesses. We are currently looking for an HR Systems Analyst, to join our on-site team in Birmingham.
Your key responsibilities
Joining the UK Talent Shared Services team, you will provide functional and technical HR data knowledge and skills. This role is a fixed-term contract for 18 months .
In this role you will:
· Lead UAT activity, produce UAT plans, identification of testers, monitor progress, resolve concerns and highlight obstacles to the UK TSS Project Manager and other appropriate stakeholders
· Support the data migration from PeopleSoft (GHRS) to Success Factors aligned to data conversion parameters
· Liaise with subject matter experts in Global IT and the business to scope remediation’s to other interdependent systems extending to localisations as required.
· Create test plans and testing interfaces between Success Factors and 3rd party providers e.g. payroll and flexible benefit platforms
· Advise EY HR, Finance and the business on best approach for future state interfaces to 3rd parties.
· Create appropriate documentation to capture system functionally for interfaces and other non-vanilla functionality and process to a standard that will satisfy an external auditor
· Provide support to other UK TSS Robotic Process Automation (RPA) opportunities/efficiencies and local business as usual opportunities e.g. Outlook mail merge activity
Skills and attributes for success
· You are an expert in Success Factors and PeopleSoft v8.9 functionality with excellent Excel skills
· You are able to explain and present technical information and advise/guide users and stakeholders on Success Factors and other HR technologies
· You are skilled in creating UAT plans and advisinf on UAT signoff protocols to mitigate areas of risk
To qualify for the role you must have
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships within Talent Shared Services (TSS) and internal/external teams
· Ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships adapting to change, flexing style and approach
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Ability to work under pressure to prioritise workload and manage multiple streams of activity
· Demonstrate flexibility to delivering of project tasks
· Ability to demonstrate initiative and vision and identify opportunities for process improvement
