Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Job Summary:

As HR Business Partner / People Consultant Assistant Director, you'll manage Human Resource (HR) activities for our Financial Services Organization's (FSO) Advisory practice. Working closely with business leaders, you'll design and implement people strategies, processes and programs. You'll also address and resolve complex employee inquiries on a wide range of HR topics, such as employee relations and compensation. Using your judgment, you'll determine whether issues need to be escalated to more senior members of the Talent Team

Typically, you'll be responsible for a specific group of employees, either by function or geography.

As HR Business Partner / People Consultant Assistant Director, overtime and travel are expected.

Key Responsibilities:
·  Manage the HR activities for FSO's Advisory Service Line
·  Serve as the tactical front-line support to customer groups. Provide some strategic support to functional leadership on people initiatives
·  Resolve complex, moderate-risk employee relations issues. Escalate these to senior team members as appropriate
·  Implement high-quality HR processes (including compensation, performance management, career development, etc.)
·  Provide detailed reporting and analysis on headcount, salaries, budgets and other people-related issues. Interpret this data and make suitable recommendations
·  Support the introduction of people-related programs or processes with appropriate change management initiatives
·  Lead and/or participate in medium-to-large projects
·  Share leading practices, and supervise and mentor team members
·  Assess the risks involved in people strategies and escalate these to appropriate parties (e.g., General Counsel Office (GCO), Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM), Employee Assistance Program (EAP))
·  Help with organizational restructuring, staffing, leadership assessments or other key HR business initiatives
To qualify, candidates must have:
·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred
·  Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, or Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certification preferred but not required
·  A minimum of 7 or more years of experience in HR
·  Experience in managing medium-to-large projects
·  Solid knowledge of HR law and practices
·  Confident in interacting with and influencing individuals at all levels within the organizations
·  Project management skills, with an ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Ability to quickly learn about EY's business
·  Good networking skills
·  Understanding of the internal practices and procedures of a large professional services organization
·  Competent at working independently on recurring projects
